Over the previous twenty-five years, I have enjoyed drawing and painting with a contemporary abstract style which developed into a means for me to relax and relieve stress. Although I had completed hundreds of pencil and ink drawings in my sketchbooks I had never shown them to family or friends. Art for me was personal, and I wasn’t sure if I wanted anyone else to see it. In 2014, I reluctantly showed my sketches to my partner Ronn. To my surprise, he loved them and offered to show them to others in the central Florida art community. With his enthusiasm putting “wind in my sails” I agreed. Three years later my drawings have sold at The Orlando Museum of Art, Live Modern Auctions, and several public art galleries. I am in total amazement of the positive reception my art has received and with my new found confidence, I look forward to sharing more of my personal paintings with the public in the years to come.
